Nature & Parks

Visit Wildhaven Ranch
It is a facility where orphans/ animals that can’t be returned to the wild are cared for. Once or twice a week tours are given to the visitors. Before visiting this hidden gem on the face of San Bernardino Mountains, make reservations as they like to give small sized tours. The volunteer staff members are exceptionally warm and friendly. They passionately provide the information of how the animals came to be. Many refer to it as the highlight of all Lake Arrowhead attractions due to the up close and personal experience they get with animals like bobcats, raccoons, falcons, bears, eagles, hawks, and owls.

It’s sort of like a mini-scale carnival with train, carousel, race cars, etc. With spectacular views of the Lake, it is a scenic place to relax while letting the kids have some fun. Plenty of tables are available and recycle bins to allow people to eat and then tidy up after themselves.
